The team behind Freedom Hill have strategy, marketing and communications backgrounds, and still work as consultants to a number of blue chip clients.  However, we are equally passionate about helping small, local and ethical businesses and community organisations to communicate more effectively - harnessing the power of the internet to realise their hopes and dreams.

Tony Harbron

Tony has been chief executive of a listed company, marketing director of Red Bull, creator of his own innovative marketing agency and is a highly regarded consultant, researcher and facilitator. He has helped build some of Britain's most notable brands including Virgin, Pot Noodle, and the Ministry of Sound and advises organisations in Government, education and the media.

Tony headed West in 2008 and now lives in rural Devon overlooking Dartmoor with his wife, three children and Sky the cat.

Tony’s primary role is in helping clients identify how their online presence can best help their business, agreeing a programme of work that adds the maximum value for the minimum cost, and ensuring that our end product meets these needs.

Mark Ellis

Mark has over twenty years’ experience of working in advertising, marketing and media.  He has helped shape the business and communications strategies of organisations such as the BBC, Bass, Channel 4, The Guardian Media Group, Pizza Hut and Unilever.

Having escaped the London “rat race”, Mark now lives in Warwickshire with his wife, two young sons, and a crazy dog called Herbie.

Mark’s primary expertise is in understanding the target audience for a product or service, defining the key messages we want to communicate to them, then translating these into creative solutions.
